Wartburg and Martin Luther - for trade

I got these cards from a little bookshop in Eisenach. The Wartburg belongs to the Unesco World Heritage and has a very interesting history.

by Lucas Cranach d.Ä. Martin Luther hid here when he had been pronounced an outlaw by the Emperor. He translated the New Testament from Latin to German during that time and made it possible for everyone to read the New Testament.
